Privacy Information

General information

This privacy policy is intended to inform the users of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator m-smartsolutions gmbh.

The website operator takes your privacy very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions. As changes may be made to this privacy policy due to new technologies and the continuous further development of this website, we recommend that you read the privacy policy again at regular intervals.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 GDPR.

Access data

We, the website operator or site provider, collect data on access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) and store this data as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. in order to be able to clarify cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

Reach measurement & cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymised reach measurement, which are transmitted either from our server or from the server of third parties to the user's browser. Cookies are small files which are stored on your end device. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of this website.

If you do not want cookies for reach measurement to be stored on your end device, you can object to the use of these files here:

Common browsers provide the option of not allowing cookies. Note: It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if you make the corresponding settings.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator collects, uses and passes on your personal data only if this is permitted within the legal framework or if you consent to the data collection.

Personal data means all information that serves to determine your person and that can be traced back to you – for example your name, your email address and telephone number.

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. In order to improve our online offering, however, we store your access data to this website (without personal reference). This access data includes, for example, the file you requested or the name of your Internet provider. Due to the anonymisation of the data, it is not possible to draw conclusions about your person.

Handling contact data

If you contact us as the website operator using the offered contact options, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your enquiry. Without your consent, this data will not be passed on to third parties.

Handling comments and posts

If you leave a post or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR and serves the security of us as website operator: should your comment violate applicable law, we may be prosecuted for it, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the comment or post author.

Google Analytics

This website uses the service “Google Analytics”, which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), on the basis of our legitimate interests in optimising and analysing our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. The service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies” – text files which are stored on your end device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google LLC complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP address of users is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other contracting states to the agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address first transmitted unshortened to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This shortening removes the personal reference of your IP address. The IP address of the user transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

Within the framework of the agreement on commissioned data processing, which we as website operator have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the collected information to compile an evaluation of website use and website activity and provides services connected with Internet use.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

You can also prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. by installing a browser plug-in. The following link takes you to the relevant plug-in: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
